Glory to God! The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an
end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness my Lord. By His grace one
of His works – via my second book “The Manual for Righteous Living” won two 2012
Christian Literary Awards for outstanding Christian Literary work and for the Readers’
A call to announce the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ to all mankind through my
Book Ministry – inspirational books encouraging Christian values that inspires virtuous
character as ought to be to His glory. A great call I must confirm and glad to have been
used as a vessel to bring His uncompromising Word to all readers.
Now in Apostle Paul’s own words in 2 Corinthians, since we have this ministry, as we
have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things
of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the Word of God deceitfully, but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight
of God. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose
minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not
preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’
sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone
in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus
be assured that we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence
of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not
crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck
down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord
Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are
always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in
our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you. Hallelujah! Glory to God.
Now, since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and
therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, knowing that He who raised
up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. For
all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause
thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Even
though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by
day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more
exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen,
but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but
the things which are not seen are eternal. Knowing that each one’s work will become
manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will
test what sort of work each one has done.
This is the very reason we should fight the good fight, and finish our course, and keep
the faith: for there is laid up for us a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous judge, shall give us at that day: and not to us only, but unto all them also that
love His appearing. God Bless us all! Amen.
THE MANUAL FOR RIGHTEOUS LIVING WINS TWO CHRISTIAN LITERARY AWARDS
Where do you turn to for the right relationship with God, when churches fail to point you in the right direction?
Award-winning author Olawunmi Biriyok answers these questions and more in The Manual for Righteous Living (158pp, tpb, £15.00), a collection of seven awe-inspiring and expositional chapters all captivating. An eye-opener to the instructional approach to key elements of holiness and godliness providing knowledge beyond what you may gain in your regular church attendance.
The Manual for Righteous Living is analogous to a mundane step-by-step instructional manual which is rather spiritually motivating. It is a wake-up call and/or guidance provision for everyone taking you back to the very basics of Christianity. The core text, pinnacle of the topic is to develop a unique personal relationship with God through the knowledge, actualisation and practice of His Word – that has been in existence prior to the creation of this world. The central theme unfolds the Word of God offering immense insight to all truth seekers. The author starts each chapter with an opening Scripture, the lesson of the chapter, and then a call to action and/or prayer, leading to the next chapter.
Xulon Press Editorial Review says “the book lives up to its purpose to inspire. It includes good Scripture supporting the points. Each chapter ends with instruction/direction for the reader and flows nicely, generally, with the end of each chapter leading to the next. The book is organised like a manual, even including a chapter titled ‘Troubleshooting’ at the end – this is clever.”
Olawunmi Biriyok, MIoD, FRSA, holds a Bsc degree in International Studies and LLB Hons (Lon). A Christian lawyer and Author of inspirational books – her debut book being ‘Walk the Walk’. Thank you for visiting my website. I can guarantee you that it is not by chance that you are here, but by the divine direction of God. This is so that you can also receive and experience the good riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Also the exceeding greatness of His Power towards all who believe according to the working of His mighty power which, He worked in Christ Jesus when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.
In this empowering, ex-positional novel, the author introduces the reader to key elements of the walk of righteousness such as faith, humility, compassion, obedience, selflessness, love and prayer. Mrs. Biriyok demonstrates these virtues through stories of key Biblical figures such as Noah, Abraham, and Moses in the Old Testament and Jesus Christ and the apostle Peter in the New Testament. From these stories, she draws practical lessons for the Christian of today.
Throughout the book, she weaves the thread of her own life changing experiences and the practical ways she has shown her faith and compassion for others. This little book is a valuable addition to the devotional library for either the new Christian searching for guidance or the experienced Christian who seeks renewal and enlightenment in the walk of
faith, providing knowledge beyond what you may gain in your regular attendance of church.
